About The Book
Why This Book?
"My interest in collecting Star Wars action figures and related items began about 12 years ago. Early on in my collecting, packaging variations always caught my eye and were noted and logged. What started then as simple spreadsheets for tracking items I had in my collection and to take along to toy shows (so I did not have to rely on memory) became the basis for this book."

"As an action figure collector, I always felt the need for a "complete" reference book, one that not only identified the figures but also detailed the many variations, looked at the different forms of action figure packaging, and also included figure-related items. Approximately seven years ago I embarked on a serious effort to put together a guide to fill this need; the first publication of this work is being offered here."
